Has golf tee supplier PrideSport brought to the game the next generation of Golf tees?
For many years PrideSport have been developing revolutionary golf tees but the new PTS Offset series is said to increase your distance and accuracy off the tee and all this from just using a different tee, is this possible?
With the innovative 30 degree angle provided by the tee it is said to give an “attack angle” that will reduce spin and maximise distance from your tee shot.
The PTS offset tee also comes with the now custom PTS colour code system with a yellow bar on the tee indicating a 2 3/4 inch tee and a blue locator bar for the larger 3 1/4 inch tee.
Not only does this colour scheme help to identify the tee but it is also used for consistency when placing the tee in the groud. By using the colour bar you can ensure the ball is the correct distance off the ground for every tee shot you play.

For every golfer the thought of joining a golf society or playing in a golf society your already a member of is a great feeling.
Whether it be in this country or abroad their is likely to be a local golf society especially in the United Kingdom. Available throughout the UK are thousands of very good golf courses that all encourage golf society’s on a regular basis. Many courses will often have special offers tailored towards golf society’s regular society’s or society’s who are having their first taste of the course.
If you are looking to join a society the best places to try are current golf courses in the area and any major clubs / companies in the area. If you are still struggling to find a golf society then setting your own up is an option.
What do you need in your golf society?
Any good golf society should have a name, embroidered polo shirts, a good mix of golfers, a local course where competitions can be held with other society’s and a good local 19th hole.
If you are looking to plan a weekend away then it is worth contacting golf courses with hotels as they will offer special packages that will include meals, accommodation and most importantly a couple rounds of golf for your society.

Want to play like Robert Karlsson? or more realistically have the same fairway metals as the big Swede? Now you can.
The Titleist 909F Series, which Robert Karlsson stated “The new equipment has improved my game and the new Titleist 909F fairway metals have certainly helped me this year”. This after winning the European Order of Merit in 2008 is surely a good sign for the Titleist 909F series.
Titleist have announced that the 909F series will be now available in shops for every day golfers at a retail price of £159 in UK stores.
The clubs available will be firstly the 909F2 and 909F3fairway metals, these tailored with the new range of drivers from Titleist, the 909D2, 909D3 and 909Dcomp make the Titleist range one of the clubs for 2009.
The reason behind the huge success of the new Titleist range is the input in design, feel and performance from some of the games top players. The fairway metals themselves are engineered with their own positioned centre of gravity to produce a precise launch trajectory and ball flight. This technology is to suit a range of players from beginners to professionals.
Now using the 909F fairway metals are Robert Karlsson and Henrik Stenson, two of the games top players.
For any golfers struggling with getting the ball in the air a Titleist 909F2 with a high degree of loft will assist with good ball flight and be perfect for clearing and trees or bunkers.

Has Sunday 8th February 2009 brought us the birth of a future Major Winner? Only time will tell but one thing we do know for sure their is a new male Woods in the world.
Tiger has confirmed today on his website that Elin Woods gave birth to Charlie Axel Woods on Sunday 8th February. This is the second addition to the Woods family after the birth of their daughter Sam Alexis Woods back in 2007.
With this been great news for Wood’s family and fans around the world is it a bad news for the golf fans looking for Tiger Wood’s return to the game?
Tiger stated in a recent interview that his family life will always come first and he may delay his return to be with his family and new born son Charlie. Surely this would mean he will be off for at least another month or two months subject to his knee regaining full fitness.
This now makes it very unlikely that Tiger will be playing at the Accenture Match Play Championship on 25th February as first thought.
